Is there a short-term or long-term goal that you want to achieve in your life? What is it? How to turn your goals into reality? What’s your plan? (free in length)

I have a goal of taking a bookkeeper next year.

I'll set a schedule and write down my goals where I see them every day, and ask my friends to push me to finish them on time.

Assignment #8



 1.  stratospheric :   adj. / relating to the stratosphere

2.  motivational :  adv. / giving you motivation (= enthusiasm)

        ➪She ' s becoming quite the motivational speaker.

3.  characteristic :  n. / pleasure or satisfaction

        ➪It was, after all, a human characteristic.

4.  stamina :   noun. / the physical and/or mental strength to do something that might be difficult and will take a long time

        ➪The triathlon is a great test of stamina.

5.  inversely :  adverb. / a long piece of writing on a particular subject

        ➪Subjects are asked to predict prices and their earnings are inversely related to their quadratic forecasting errors.


What do you think is the key to success?

1.  Grit. Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals. 

2.  We need to measure whether we've been successful, and we have to be willing to fail, to be wrong, to start over again with lessons learned.

Inside the mind of a master procrastinator



1.  procrastination :   n. / the act of delaying something that must be done, often because it is unpleasant or boring

        He hates delay and procrastination in all its forms.

2.  thesis :  n. / a long piece of writing on a particular subject

        He has already started his thesis.

3.  gratification :  n. / pleasure or satisfaction

        She flushed with gratification.


We need to stay aware of the Instant Gratification Monkey.
Because the speaker thinks there is two kinds of procrastination, first is there's deadlines, the second kind in situation when there is no deadline. 
When there's deadlines, the effects of procrastination are contained to the short term because the Panic Monster gets involved, but there's a second kind of procrastination that happens in situations when there is no deadline.

Question:If you can choose, do you prefer to work from home, or to work in the office with your colleagues? Why?



If I have a choice, I think I prefer to work in the office because it has a clear commute time, which makes me more focused on my work. When my work is in trouble, I can also communicate with colleagues in a timely manner, reduce the time to wait for information, so that my work more efficient.

Question:Do you use AI in your everyday life?

Fingerprint recognition and artificial intelligence algorithm are commonly used artificial intelligence in my life.

⇒Fingerprint recognition allows me to quickly turn on my phone without having to call my password.

⇒When I turn on my YouTube, the AI algorithm recommends my new videos and music based on my viewing record, and I love it because it always surprises me differently.

Is technology harmful to you?



 I think so.
➪1. Long-term use of technology products, so that young people are prone to myopia, and can cause damage to brain nerves, such as headaches, memory loss, sleep disorders.
➪2. Indulge in online games, communicate less with family, and damage family relationships.
➪3. Teenagers may learn bad information from different sources and break the law due to a lack of insight and curiosity.
➪4. Heavy users of social media are more likely to feel blue.
➪5. In inappropriate cases, technology magnifies the effect of comparison, leading to bullying.
